Lady Hanes knew they had a winner when their outrageously sexy “Panty Inspector No.5” ad tested off the charts, but were forced to scrap the campaign when lead actor Alexander Skarsgard pulled out of contract negotiations. A company insider told Ad Week, “We didn’t even try to re-cast. There’s no one ladies like better than Skarsgard. Especially up their skirt.”
